Colombo, Sri Lanka – January 31, 2025 – She for Nation 2025, a prestigious event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the achievements of outstanding women, was successfully held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) on January 31, 2025.
The event was graced by Hon. Mano Ganesan, Member of Parliament and Former Minister, as the Joint Chief Guest, alongside Hon. Tissa Attanayake, Former Member of Parliament, and Mr. Zakir Hussein, Founder of Anyelp Groups India, whose presence added significance to this grand occasion. DR. HAYESHIKA FERNANDO CROWNED AS ‘SHE FOR THE NATION’
One of the most anticipated moments of the event was the crowning of Dr. Hayeshika Fernando as ‘She for the Nation 2025’, recognizing her extraordinary contributions to education and youth empowerment in Sri Lanka.
Dr. Hayeshika Fernando is a renowned educationist, entrepreneur, and social influencer who has transformed Grade 5 scholarship coaching in Sri Lanka. As the CEO and Chairman of Queen’s Education Group (Pvt) Ltd, she has directly impacted over 200,000 students, created job opportunities for 80+ professionals, and revolutionized online and hybrid tuition methods.
Widely known as “Teacher Amma”, she has pioneered accessible education through her digital platforms, making her YouTube channel the most-followed Sinhala medium education platform in Sri Lanka.
