In addition to a glittering trophy, the champions will walk away with a cheque of $4.48m, while the runners-up will receive $2.24m.
The total prize money for the tournament is $13.88m, which includes $1.12m each for the losing semifinalists, $700,000 each for the fifth and sixth place finishers and $280,000 each for the seventh and eighth place finishers.
