The number of candidates who have placed deposits thus far in order to contest the 2024 Presidential Election has increased to 36.

This includes 19 candidates representing recognized political parties, one candidate from another political party, and 16 independent candidates who have been nominated by their respective representatives.

The Election Commission announced that the deposit money for the 2024 Presidential Election can be deposited until 12 noon on August 14, the day before the calling of nominations for the election.
