The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) conducted raids at three cinema canteens in Colombo on Friday (22), following complaints that products were being sold above the marked price.

The Authority said all traders have been instructed not to sell goods at prices exceeding the Maximum Retail Price (MRP).

Consumers have been urged to lodge complaints regarding such incidents by calling the CAA’s 1977 hotline during office hours.
