The much-anticipated Sri Lanka Cricket Awards 2024 will take center stage today at Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams in Colombo, bringing together a distinguished gathering of the cricketing fraternity to celebrate excellence across both international and domestic cricket.

The event will be graced by Sunil Kumara Gamage, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, who will attend as the Chief Guest following an invitation extended by Mr. Shammi Silva, President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), on behalf of the SLC Executive Committee.

The Awards Night will witness the presence of national captains, present and former cricketers, members of the SLC Management and the Executive Committee, Government Officials, Diplomats, Corporate Leaders, representatives of the event sponsor, and the past SLC administrators.

A total of 46 awards will be presented during the ceremony. 18 Awards recognizing excellence in International Cricket, and 20 Awards honoring top performers in Domestic cricket.

The Best Match Referee of the Year and Best Umpire of the Year will also be recognized. Six persons who have contributed immensely to the betterment of the game will be honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards. The awarding of the Men’s and Women’s Cricketer of the Year will be a highlight at the event’s night.
