President Anura Kumara Dissanayake dissolved Parliament midnight today through a gazette notification issued by him.

Sri Lanka General Election will be held on November 14.

Nominations accepted from 04th October to 11th October.

Following the election, the new Parliament is scheduled to convene on November 21.
