Avishka Fernando, Dinesh Chandimal, Jeffrey Vandersay, Eshan Malinga and the injured Wanindu Hasaranga have been left out of the squad

Sri Lanka announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming T20 Asia Cup 2025, which commences on September 9 in the United Arab Emirates. 

The team will be led by left-handed batter Charith Asalanka, and includes star all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga and pacer Matheesha Pathirana. Halambage called up, Nuwanidu and Mishara back.
